How are funds for local awards provided?

Each year our community is invited to demonstrate our support for local students through a variety of fundraising activities. Funds also come from the generous support of local businesses, service organizations, and individuals who desire to sponsor scholarships in their name.

A donation of $1000 or more entitles donors to have a scholarship awarded in their honor. A donation of $500 entitles donors to a shared sponsorship. 

Also, donors may wish to establish an ongoing named scholarship through an endowment gift. In which case, a donation may be made to start an endowment fund. Or Bismarck Dollars for Scholars may be named as a beneficiary in a will or insurance policy. Contact the board president for more information.
